Well, Flickr and I are coexisting better now. The Scotties shown belong to my "bestest friend" and breeder, and owner handler, Rhea. She is recovering from double hip replacement and since my ankle is doing much better, we got together Sunday to groom her puppies (12 month old). She hopes to have them (and her fully recovered self) in the ring by the fall shows....and after my Dr. appt yesterday, it looks like I be walking well enough to be there by then myself!

HTML.... Hello.... it is HTML!!!!

Sooner, or later.... I will figure this out!!!!! Thanks for you ladies who encourage, and guide me!
I'm going to bed! Aloha nui!

Trying to post flickr slide show

I give up for today...I could be knitting instead of trying to insert a slide show of some of my cool past projects....I will prevail, eventually!

Mason Dixon OTN

I've got the Mason Dixon book on loan from our library. Would you believe there are only two copies listed in the whole Georgia library system???? It has to go back soon....I am looking forward to their new book. I will probably get it as soon as it comes out. I love their style and I have made several patterns already from the current book. As soon as this baby and wedding shower knitting is over I intend to make myself more linen hand towels, and use the patterns from this book. I've made one for the guest bath. I did it right after the ankle reconstruction surgery and while on MANY pills for the pain.....got through somehow. I'll have add a picture of that soon. I do need to work on my photo skills, although in this picture you can clearly see the valley in our mattress....maybe we should think of replacing it...what do you think???

Angela's growing shower gift collection

My niece, Angela, is getting married in August, and I have been getting together a stash. The front cloth is the lighthouse pattern from Knitwits_Heaven. I love this pattern! There are two DW cloths on left side, a ballband in the middle, a couple other "picture cloths" and the aqua cloth is this month's KAL on the Monthly Dishcloth KAL on Yahoo groups. It is a Unicorn....I tell you that, because I don't think there is a chance you'd be able to pick that out on the picture. I will have to improve picture taking!

Why am I always knitting behind the 8 Ball?????

I hope to figure out how to add all those buttons I see on everyone else's blogs later today, but I will have little time tonight, as I'm racing the stork! I have to power knit on my "Baby Genius Burp Cloth" and the bib pattern, also out of the Mason Dixon Knitting book. I have it on loan from the Library, and have to return by next weekend! As always, so much knitting, and so little time. I got about 1/3 down on the burp cloth last night using some blue varigated yarn I picked up at Hancock's since my LYS was already closed! :( I have to admit, it still is looking really nice, and after all, it is for a baby to burp all over!
